On April 23, Chairman Wan Jifei met with global Vice-president of John Deere of United States Stamp and the delegation. During the meeting, Chairman Wan Jifei introduced to the guests China's positive measures in response to the international financial crisis, especially the aid- agriculture policy introduced by the Chinese government.

Chairman Wan said that China has stepped up the subsidies of purchase of agricultural machinery for farmers, which will create a good market opportunity for agricultural machinery manufacturers including the John Deere Company. It is hoped that John Deere Company could increase investment in the Chinese market, continue to support the development of agricultural machinery in China, and make new contributions for the Sino-US economic and trade cooperation. In response to guests’ request, Chairman Wan also made a special presentation on CCPIT intellectual property protection services.

Stamp said that John Deere Company attaches great importance to the Chinese market, he spoke highly of Chinese government’s policies on supporting agriculture, they are willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT, and participate actively in economic and trade activities, such as exhibitions, organized by CCPIT.

Deputy Secretary-General Sui Jianmin and Director of CCPIT Patent & Trademark Law Office Li Yong were also present.
