At 10 a.m., April 22, accompanied by the roused martial music, the 10th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition was solemnly opened at the south exhibition hall of the new International Exhibition Center.

CCPIT Chairman Wan Jifei, Chairman Yu Zhen of China Machinery Industry Association, President Xu Jian of China National Machinery Industry Cooperation and Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General Dong Yang of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers cut the ribbon for the exhibition. CCPIT Deputy Secretary-General Xu Hubin hosted the opening ceremony and Executive Vice Chairman Zhang Xiaogeng of China Machinery Industry Association addressed the opening ceremony. Officials from the organizers and relevant organizations attended the ceremony, after which the exhibition was officially opened to the public.
