Wu Yi emphasized that the growth of CCOIC serves better the interest of enterprises, since it will facilitate the utilization of both national and oversea markets. For better development of CCOIC, she has put forward three proposals as follows:

First of all, to perform its duties and improve the service level. CCOIC should get a better understanding of its member enterprises in order to protect their legal rights and to help them solve problems. A variety of channels and forms should be used in which a pack of services will be delivered to enterprises, such as providing them with business information, legal advice, mediation service and training programs. At the same time, enterprises should be guided towards better awareness of social responsibility and self-discipline.

Second of all, to promote enterprises to engage in more international operations. Economic and trade trends in the global community should be a big concern in order to find the enterprises a niche in global competition. When it comes to issues like market accession, trade barrier and trade friction, relevant foreign governments and international institutions should be resort to.

Thirdly, to maintain the market-oriented perspective and to expand new fields to operate in. With the priority of serving foreign trade and foreign investors, small and medium-sized enterprises should also be supported. Expertise in terms of market analysis, regulation consulting, business training, trade mediation and IPR agency should be further strengthened. Effective service should be tailed to the needs of specific enterprises according to local and international environments. And at the same time, it is necessary to enhance the awareness of self-discipline among business leaders.
